I had the chance to try out RIFT this weekend and it blew my mind. Not because of the game itself, which is great but because it is still in beta and so god damd polished already. If you have issues and contact a GM you get an answer within 10-15min in game!
The devs communicate with their player base and setup polls to get feedback in order to develop a product FOR the players.
Honestly... I'm just stunned! No false hopes given by the dev team nor any broken promises.
I'm not saying RIFT is the best next game bla bla but I want to show that it IS possible to have a happy community of players.
